Yes, but only you can see them. Under our security and privacy protocols, the faces and full identities of the orphans we care for are never displayed on the open internet or social media. When you sign in to your donor account, the child's photograph, date of birth, report card and health reports are listed for your profile alone.
Children are not confined to vast, alienating orphanage institutions. We make sure the child stays with their mother, grandmother or close relatives, within their own cultural and family setting. Your monthly support protects a family that would otherwise risk breaking apart through poverty.
Morally and emotionally, sponsorship is recommended until the child can stand on their own feet — completing their education and gaining a profession. There is no binding contract, however: you can pause or cancel with one click in your donor account in any month.
Never. The Valide Orphan Emergency Buffer Fund stands ready. If your card limit or a technical fault gets in the way, the fund steps in and pays the child's monthly maintenance and school costs in full — the child does not even notice.
You can join Valide's periodic field inspection and Eid trips and visit your child in person, accompanied by our staff. Letters and gift parcels sent through your account are also delivered to the child by our field offices.
Yes. Every orphan family we support is in need and eligible to receive zakat. When you tick the "Zakat intention" box on the payment screen, the amount is spent in accordance with zakat jurisprudence, by direct transfer of ownership in cash or in kind.
