Your security matters to us. For this reason, the personal data you share with us is protected with care. As Valide Humanitarian Aid Association, acting as data controller, we aim to inform you through this privacy and personal data protection policy about which of your personal data is processed and for what purpose, with whom and why the processed data may be shared, our data processing methods and legal grounds, and what rights you have regarding your processed data.

Personal Data Collected, Method of Collection and Legal Grounds

Your IP address and user agent information are processed solely for analytical purposes, by automated or non-automated means through cookies and similar technologies, and sometimes obtained from third parties such as analytics providers, advertising networks, search information providers and technology providers; such data is recorded, stored and updated within the framework and for the duration of the service and contractual relationship between us, on the legal ground of legitimate interest.

Purpose of Processing Your Personal Data

The personal data you share with us is processed and updated solely by means of analysis, in a manner proportionate to and consistent with its purpose and for the duration of the contract and service, in order to fulfil the requirements of the services we provide in the best possible way, to ensure that these services are accessible to you and used to the fullest extent, to develop our services in line with your needs, to connect you with broader service providers within legal frameworks, and to comply with obligations arising from law (sharing personal data with judicial and administrative authorities upon request).

To Whom and For What Purposes Collected Personal Data May Be Transferred

The personal data you share with us may be transferred, provided that the necessary technical and administrative measures are taken, to third parties, institutions and organisations in Turkey and abroad from which we receive and/or to which we provide services, with which we have a contractual relationship or cooperate, and to judicial and administrative authorities upon request, in order to carry out our activities.

Your Rights as a Data Subject

Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, everyone may apply to the data controller and exercise the following rights: a. to learn whether personal data is processed; b. to request information if personal data has been processed; c. to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose; d. to know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom personal data is transferred; e. to request rectification where personal data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately; f. to request the erasure or destruction of personal data; g. to request that the actions taken under paragraphs (e) and (f) be notified to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred; h. to object to an outcome adverse to the data subject arising from the analysis of processed data exclusively by automated systems; i. to claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing of personal data.
